Early Years
After working in a nursery for 8 years I am well aware of the stresses of both raising children and those who work with these little lives and their families. After achieving a first in Counselling and Psychotherapy Principles and Practises at Derby University, I decided to create a unique framework to provide support for the early years sector, for the parents, children and staff.
It is my hope to support the development of children’s resilience skills and help their adults develop action plans tailored to help children through challenging times, such as setting or developmental transitions, bereavement, or divorce. I am able to use my professional and personal experience as well as my academic knowledge.
The Early Years Wellbeing Practioner

This framework encompasses two key elements: empathy and solutions. By using a blended approach using theories from Person-Centred therapy, Solution-Focused Coaching, and Mental Health First Aid, I can offer wellbeing support for the children, parents, and staff in the Early Years sector. The core objective is to create happy, attuned, and flexible nursery settings and homes for our children to grow in by supporting their adults.
I offer consultations, help to create support plans, and sessions.
